The Chamberlain West Hollywood is one of those hidden gems that don't make it into people's radar until you are there. This hotel is a great place to stay. the amenities are cool the people are great and it is located in a nice neighborhood. The food is great and the restaurant/bar has a great atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and it has plasma TV with HD channels. Is not like I ever watch TV but it is nice to have for those who like their soap operas. The people at the front desk are really nice and housekeeping did a good job during our stay. If I am in the neighborhood again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.TripAdvisor, Reviewed January 23, 2014
Above and beyond....
I was traveling to LA on business and had booked this particular hotel for two reasons 1) it was centrally located to all of my meetings, which were pretty spread out all over LA and 2) because it was designed by Kelly Wearstler protege David McCauley, and I knew it would be chic. Chic it was- well appointed accessories and thoughtful details made it feel much more like a hip apartment building than a hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the best thing about the hotel is the staff, particularly Indika and Jake at reception. They were both so accommodating and non-judgemental when I asked to change rooms (there was nothing wrong with my original room, for me it was a superstitious thing) and had my bags moved and waiting for me in the new room when I returned from a long day. They were gracious and made sure my new room was comfortable and suitable, which it certainly was. Food in the Bistro was great and they have a phenomenal wine list. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.TripAdvisor, Reviewed January 14, 2014
We recently stayed at the Chamberlain will visiting California. We stayed at the Chamberlain for 3 nights. I loved the hotel. The suite we had was very spacious, and had a modern decor. The hotel staff were very helpful. We did have a couple of problems (room assignment) and toilet issue, and they were very quick to resolve each problem right away. The neighborhood was absolutely lovely. The location is perfect to visit a lot of the popular Hollywood/LA sights. There are some great restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.TripAdvisor, Reviewed January 13, 2014
The Chamberlain was recommended by friends and I stayed around the Christmas holiday. When I arrived it was about 10 a.m. and I was expecting to have to leave my bags with the bellman, but upon arriving at the check-in desk, my room was ready! Thank you Brad! This really relieved a lot of stress as I was able to have a secure place to keep my bags and unwind for a few minutes before I headed out. The hotel is conveniently located in a delightful residential neighborhood and you can walk to many little cafes including Starbucks and Coffee Bean. The photos online do not do the hotel justice. The living room area is much nicer than it appeared and even had a fireplace. The room was huge. I was on the top floor and had a good view. The hotel was well decorated for the holiday. They provided free coffee in the lobby every morning. The gym was better than a full fitness club. I loved it. We had breakfast in the Hotel Bistro. The food and service by Tara was really very good. The weather was in the 80’s, I did not bring a bathing suit however enjoyed sitting on the rooftop deck by the pool. The views were beautiful. Absolutely will return and recommend.TripAdvisor, Reviewed January 7, 2014
You can not go wrong if you book this hotel for your stay in West Hollywood. Everything about it is fantastic - right from the valet staff to the reception staff. The location is great and the rooms are massive - even their standard ones. The rooftop pool is awesome - even in December. The bathroom was very clean and the housekeeping each day made it feel like a brand new room. The bed was terrific as was the seating area and the fact that you could open a sliding door was excellent. Everyone at this hotel was great and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.TripAdvisor, Reviewed December 15, 2013
Very nice, very friendly, just perfect!
We recently stayed with visiting relatives at the Chamberlain. We had such a great stay. Eric upon check out asked us to review our time with them and I am happy to do so. The rooms are huge with terrific bathrooms. Really cool design throughout the hotel. You just would never know from the exterior how beautiful this hotel is. All of the staff was very friendly, I hope not to miss anyone, Jonathan the doorman always had a smile, and of course Eric and Claudia were very helpful. Enrique and Sara in the restaurant, great service with a smile. The restaurant is really good. We had breakfast and Dinner. The food was perfect, menu had a great selection. I am a fitness buff and I have never seen such a well-equipped gym in a small hotel. The location could not be better. It was all around a terrific visit with our family. Thank you Chamberlain. We will be back, and I know the family will also.
