Founded in 1984 by street performers Gilles Ste-Croix and Guy Laliberté, the Montreal-based Cirque du Soleil is now arguably the world’s preeminent circus troupe, with nearly two dozen unique shows on six continents. Now through February 11, Los Angeles is the proud host of one such show, Luzia, which joins together motifs of light (luz) and rain (lluvia) to guide you on a visionary journey across the surreal landscape of Mexico as seen in a waking dream.
